Local attractions

We are just a one mile stroll from a local Nepalese pub and small village community shop.  The local market town of Newent is nearby with its abundance of local shops and amenities and beautiful surroundings. Also, the larger market town of Ross on Wye is only a ten minute drive away for those larger shops and amenities. The picturesque market town of Ledbury is also only a few miles away.


There are many pubs, restaurants and cafes nearby too. Including The Kings Arms in Newent for great value for money and traditional pub food or you could also try the Beefeater Travellers Rest on the outskirts of Ross on Wye (just a five minute drive).


Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties offer a vast number and variety of attractions for places to visit during your stay. From outdoor exploring to wine, cider or beer tasting to Cathedrals and Go-Ape to railway adventures.

An ancient woodland with a rich variety of plants and animals accessible directly from the site. With many different paths, the 9 mile daffodil trail is just beautiful. 

With 40,000 sq foot of undercover indoor space, with 7 ‘soft play’ themed areas. Play areas cater for age ranges from 18 months to 11 years… Outside there are zip wires, swings, slides, roundabouts, trampolines, ‘ride-on’ tractors and go-carts! Plus farm animals including sheep, goat's, lama, donkey. Great outside picnic spots.
