Monthly highlights - April 2026

30 April 2026
This month's highlights at Haywood Farm - April 2026
After a peaceful start to the season, the Easter holidays were soon upon us at the beginning of April. What an absolute joy it was to see so many happy children and adults. A real relaxed but busy feel to the holidays.
Thanks so much again to everyone who took part in our onsite activities. We all had a terrific time! There were arts and crafts colouring sheets with Easter card colouring, colouring competition, Easter quiz and bingo, Easter scavenger hunt, egg and spoon races, and not forgetting face painting.
Over 200 individuals were taking part in one or more of the above activities, and all the feedback we received from children, parents, grandparents and caregivers was amazing! We even got given a bunch of roses from one lovely family, and lots of rebooking to come back in the summer to stay with us. Thank you so much!
The neighbouring woodlands are now changing to have a stunning lilac carpet of bluebells, with a divine scent too. It's well worth visiting us and taking a walk in the woods to enjoy these at this time of year.
It was National Hug Your Dog Day on 10 April, and we had some lovely pictures sent to us of your pooches. It was also National Tea Day and St George's Day this month.
We have had a busy month, and we have been so happy to receive such lovely reviews. Thank you all so much, it's greatly appreciated.
